Pilot Energy – Solar Farm Development Approval

Logie Legal is delighted to have assisted Pilot in securing development approval in 2024 for a 375 MW (A$440m) solar farm in the Shire of Three Springs, Mid West of WA.

Logie Legal managed the development application process, preparing the supporting report, coordinating technical reports, consulting with and presenting to the Shire, Mid West Development Commission and the Regional Joint Development Assessment Panel.

The proposed solar farm covers 530ha of private land and is a key component of the company’s Mid West Clean Energy Project, an ammonia production and export project aiming to produce up to 1.2 million tonnes per annum of clean ammonia.
